Become A Dispatcher ::

Thank you for your interest in joining the IPN Dispatch Team.

IPN is the world’s largest and most comprehensive incident notification network, providing coverage across the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Barbados.

As an active dispatcher, you may earn complimentary months of IPN notification service and participate in our exclusive Dispatcher Rewards Program. Dispatchers earn points for each qualifying alert submitted, with rewards based on the type and quality of the incident report. Points can be redeemed for e-gift cards from popular retailers and restaurants, as well as scanners, pagers, weather radios, and other equipment. Top-performing dispatchers may also qualify for cash payouts once minimum reward thresholds are met.

In addition to rewards, dispatchers gain access to our members-only forums, where they can connect with fellow fire, EMS, and law enforcement enthusiasts from around the world. Most importantly, dispatchers play a vital role in sharing breaking incidents from their local communities with IPN members worldwide.

To qualify as a dispatcher, applicants should own and regularly monitor at least one scanner, public safety radio, or online public safety radio feed. A strong understanding of local police, fire, and EMS radio procedures, terminology, and codes is essential for the areas you wish to cover. While internet access is preferred, dispatchers may also relay incidents through a live operator using IPN’s dedicated Zello channel.

If you would like to be considered for a dispatcher position, please complete the application form below. Applications are typically reviewed within 3–5 business days. If you have any questions about the application process or this form, please click here to contact us.
